Opened in May 2025 at 1 Central Avenue, the five-acre park transformed a former industrial riverfront site into a public green space with a 1,000-foot boardwalk, amphitheater, playground, great lawn, picnic areas and river views. Current borough hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Clark Thread Company Historic District
The former Clark Thread mill complex at 900 Passaic Avenue is a National Historic Landmark district and one of East Newark's defining industrial sites. Thread manufacturing drove the borough's growth and played a major role in East Newark's 1895 separation from Kearny.
